Our bed and breakfast is situated near the pasture where in February and in the winter the herds are brought in safety, when the waterlevels are too high or food is scarce. Waterbuffaloo, Scottish Highlanders and Konik horses. They come from the so-called Noordwaard nearby. They graze behind a fence very close by. At 500 metres distance the Biesboschmuseum is situated. From there in the touristseason you can book excursions into nature or on the water with the guides of Staatsbosbeheer. Two kilometres away you can rent boats or bikes. Over there is also a restaurant where you can have a simple meal or an icecream.

At night it can be pitchdark over here. We do not have street- lanterns. So for stargazers it is a beautiful spot to be. The movements of moon, sun and planets are beautifully visible. For people who like to do some fishing, there are many opportunities. A licence is obligatory. The bed inside the house is suitable for long people also, its length is 1.80 meters. Although we are a B&B, breakfast is free for our guests to choose. There is a complete kitchen, so you can prepare meals yourselves. You are welcome to have us make breakfast for you. Our geographical location

The nearest shops to buy your groceries are about 15 minutes drive to and fro. So it is a sensible thing to buy your groceries on the drive-up. BiesboschBest is situated amidst a lot of water and smaller or bigger rivers. There is a ferry that brings you to the town of Dordrecht . Three times each hour. The last ride is at 19.45. Facilities and conditions

As mentioned above, there is a complete kitchen and also a shower and a good big bed. No television, but internetconnection to keep contact with our rapidly moving world. The little house is not suited for children or pets. Smoking is best done outside in the fresh air.

The terrace faces southeast and is very sunny. Sometimes a few deer poke their heads or the hares show their rattle to you. If you wish to receive guests you can only do so after express consultation. In the cottage there is a folder with information about the immediate surroundings.
